Parc Mawr is a development of 2, 3, and 4-bedroom homes in the village of Penllergaer, Swansea. Hydro was asked to design, install and commission the Internal Fire sprinkler system including dedicated sprinkler main, GRP housing and fire pump to 147 houses.
We designed, installed, chlorinated and commissioned a dedicated sprinkler main throughout the development to feed 147 plots.
The system uses a fusion weld SDR11 MDPE pipe fed by a Fire pump located at the entrance of the site.
Hydro also designed, installed and commissioned 147 CAT 1 fire sprinkler systems within each plot with connection to internal smoke alarms for local monitoring enabling the issue of full FIRAS certification.
