Carn y Cefn is a collection of two, three, and four-bedroom new homes located on the southern reaches of Ebbw Vale in South Wales.
Persimmon Homes approached us to design, install and commission Internal Fire sprinkler systems including dedicated sprinkler main, GRP housing and fire pump to 277 houses.
We designed, installed, chlorinated and commissioned a dedicated sprinkler main throughout the development to feed 277 plots.
The system uses a fusion weld SDR11 MDPE pipe fed by a Fire pump located at the entrance of the site.
Hydro also designed, installed and commissioned 277 CAT 1 fire sprinkler systems within each plot with connection to internal smoke alarms for local monitoring enabling the issue of full FIRAS certification.
